Artist's Comments

And so ends the mad rush of trying to complete school work I was supposed to do months ago but completely "forgot" about. This was a complete pain to finish and I'm not entirely happy with my treatment of it - I think the drawings were so promising and this result is a bit of a mess. I'm well into his cloak though, it looks like embroidered silk or something. Also what is with those weedy swords? He might have loads of arms but with swords like that people are going to think he's weak.

I think the tree might be too dark, it takes the focus away from Enkidu. This is beautiful though, I like very much where it's gone since the drawing!

hmmm...good job! this is definitely a story that I don't often see depicted! I like the cooler color you used, and the tree especially is done well. The different lines and texures in the trunk are really beautiful! Nice job!
